Its unique formula, containing zinc ascorbate, makes it effective in maintaining oral hygiene, neutralizing unpleasant breath odor, slowing the formation of dental plaque, and reducing the risk of gingivitis.

Directions for Use
Before first use: Pour the ascorbic acid contained in the vial into the bottle containing the gel. Wait for all the powder to settle to the bottom, then shake until completely dissolved.

Cats/small dogs: Apply a pea-sized drop of the product to your ring finger or a cotton swab used for ear cleaning and gently massage into the gums on both sides of the mouth, around the molars.

Medium and large breed dogs: The product can be applied directly to the mucous membrane using the built-in applicator.
Ingredients
Deionized water, dietary additives: zinc gluconate, ascorbic acid, taurine, technological additives: gelling agent – methylcellulose, preservatives: methyl paraben, propyl paraben, sensory additives: color – brilliant blue.
Use Cases
Use of Vetfood MAXI/GUARD® in dogs and cats with dental problems: Before planned dental procedures to soothe inflammation, which will reduce bleeding, the risk of bacteremia, and postoperative inflammatory reactions. Dosage: Twice daily 7-10 days before surgery, or more frequently if inflammation is severe. After oral procedures, the gel soothes inflammation and pain, reduces discomfort resulting from treatment, and accelerates the healing of wounds and injuries. This applies to all types of surgeries, from the simplest preventive procedures through minor and major surgical procedures (extractions), oncological procedures, and post-traumatic repairs. Post-operative use: 2-4 times daily for a minimum of 10-14 days after surgery, after which the frequency of administration can be reduced.
Use of Vetfood MAXI/GUARD® in dogs and cats for daily oral hygiene: Prophylactic application 1-2 times daily as a supplement to toothbrushing. Injuries and wounds of the oral mucosa and tongue, and burns of the mucosa. In such circumstances, the preparation is applied every 2-3 hours until the lesions heal. Alleviates local inflammatory reactions and reduces plaque accumulation during orthodontic, prosthetic, or orthopedic treatment. The preparation should be applied three times daily.
