Description
Hepatiale Forte Advanced supports liver function and regeneration in dogs and cats with liver diseases or inflammation.
Hepatiale Forte Advanced is a rich composition that comprehensively supports the functions of the liver and its return to proper functioning and the regeneration of hepatocytes (liver cells). Designed for dogs and cats with suspected liver diseases, as well as with diagnosed liver inflammation or poisoning and impaired bile secretion or bile stasis.
Why Hepatiale Forte Advanced?
- has a rich composition
- is comprehensive support for the liver in case of liver failure*
- has a convenient dosage
*Based on a survey among veterinarians in Poland, conducted by Kantar Polska S.A., in March 2021, regarding veterinary supplements (complementary feed mixtures) for dogs or cats.
Rich composition:
-
L-Betaine (trimethylglycine) is a derivative of glycine and the main donor of methyl groups. By donating the methyl group, betaine participates in the synthesis of S-adenosylmethionine (SAM), which is a natural antioxidant. Additionally, it increases the concentration of glutathione, which also supports the protection of cells against free radicals.
-
Milk Thistle Seed Extract Silybum marianum protects against liver damage by preventing toxins from combining with the surface of liver cells.
-
Phospholipids, the source of which is soybean lecithin, are incorporated into the cell membrane of damaged hepatocytes (liver cells), which promotes their regeneration. They have antioxidant properties and protect against the effects of oxidative damage to liver cells.
-
L-Arginine is an exogenous protein amino acid involved in a number of metabolic processes taking place in the liver. Its main function is related to the transport, accumulation and excretion of nitrogen and ammonia through the urea cycle. Arginine is the precursor of ornithine in the mentioned urea cycle. It is also a conditionally essential amino acid in the event of metabolic stress and when using high-protein diets.
-
L-Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid that becomes conditionally essential under conditions of catabolic stress. Its main function is to provide substrates for the gluconeogenesis process taking place in the liver. It is also a precursor of ornithine and thus plays an important role in nitrogen metabolism and helps remove ammonia from the body, produced through protein metabolism.
-
Zinc thanks to its antioxidant properties, protects liver cells against free radicals.
