Remember to remove all hairs and other solid dirt from the scissors before oiling them. Use a soft brush, e.g., for cleaning blades. Apply a drop of oil to the pivot point near the screw on both sides of the scissors. Once oiled, make a few cutting movements. Remove excess oil remaining on the blades with a tissue to prevent staining your dog's clean fur.
