By allowing you to deliver rewards remotely, you increase your dog's potential for good behavior throughout the home, not just at your side.
A key element of the Teach & Treat system is its versatility and adaptability to your dog's individual training needs. The device has three treat dispensing modes: in "Single" mode, the dispenser dispenses one treat at a time; in "Multi" mode, it dispenses three treats; and in "Cue" mode, treats are only released when you press the appropriate button on the remote (with a bowl icon). The device can be operated with or without an audible signal, allowing for the gradual introduction of stimuli and building positive associations with the animal.
Additionally, the trainer can choose between a fixed or variable reward schedule. Choosing a fixed schedule dispenses treats at regular intervals, which is ideal for the initial training phase. In variable mode, the device dispenses treats at irregular intervals, introducing an element of unpredictability, which increases the dog's engagement and helps reinforce learned behaviors.
