The PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder prevents overfeeding and overeating, which could happen if you leave a large amount of food in a traditional bowl. The PetSafe dry food dispenser automatically serves a reasonable portion of food at your chosen time, thanks to its control function via a dedicated mobile app.
The feeder holds up to 5.7L of dry food or treats for dogs and cats. It is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module, so you can change all settings at any time and from anywhere with internet access. The timer allows you to schedule up to 12 meals a day, also specifying portion sizes from 29-946ml. After entering your preferences, food will be automatically dispensed into the bowl at the same time each day. This means you can program meals for the entire week.
Additional programs allow you to pause feeding until further notice, serve a meal immediately, or slow dispense – this feature is especially useful if your pet tends to gobble up meals too quickly. Furthermore, the smartphone app will display a notification whenever the feeder is running low, when the food runs out, or when your cat or dog has had their fill.
The Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder by PetSafe holds its ground securely, and its design prevents your pet's prying paws from getting inside. The dispenser's materials do not alter the taste or smell of the food. The housing is easy to clean using a damp, soft cloth, and the inner food bowl is removable and dishwasher safe. The feeder comes with a spacious bowl with a handle to hold it in place.
The dispenser can be powered by a domestic power network (cable to the electrical outlet included) or D LR20 batteries.

Note: The PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder for dogs and cats is not suitable for outdoor use only. The dispenser is intended for serving dry food and treats – do not use canned food, pastes, or other moist products. Do not fill the bowl above the housing line. Place the dispenser on a level surface, as any unevenness may impair its operation. It is recommended to use mains power as the primary power source, but batteries can also be used as a backup in the event of a power outage.
