The device scoops cat waste into a separate compartment without the need for immediate emptying. As a result, it saves you: litter, time, and effort.
This automatic litter box works with clumping litter and doesn't require a scoop. Any cat litter residue is automatically removed without your intervention, even when you're away. When your cat enters the box to relieve itself, motion sensors register your presence. When your cat leaves the toilet, the device begins a 10-minute countdown. After this time, the metal "rakes" automatically move toward the front of the box, sweeping up clumped waste along the way. Delayed activation of the scraper is designed to ensure your cat's safety, preventing it from being drawn into the cleaning mechanism. You can also activate the rake at any time, safely, by pressing a single button on the housing.
Collected waste is placed in a closed container, preventing unpleasant odors from spreading throughout the room. All you need to do is empty the waste chamber approximately once a week (depending on your cat's pooping frequency), periodically replace the litter, and rinse the device. The PetSafe ScoopFree litter box is designed to make cleaning both the device itself and its surroundings as easy as possible. The material has an ultra-smooth finish, preventing debris from sticking. The litter container, waste chamber, and metal scraper are completely removable for cleaning. High walls, in turn, prevent litter from being thrown outside.
