The fountain holds 1.2 liters of water and has a replaceable carbon filter that removes unpleasant tastes and odors and captures possible contaminants, such as fur. A sloping ramp is located under the spout – a special elevation that allows the water to flow into the bowl. This design prevents the water jet from violently colliding with the surface, thus preventing splashing around the fountain. The water pump is located just below the water level, ensuring quiet operation. Additionally, the pump is adjustable, allowing you to adjust the flow rate. The narrow, compact design and relatively shallow bowl will work in almost any space. The fountain is easily disassembled for cleaning, and all parts, except the pump, are dishwasher safe. The Drinkwell Mini dog and cat water fountain is powered by electricity (power cord included).
