The feeder has two 355ml bowls, each covered with a separate flap. A digital timer lets you "feed" a meal from one or two trays at a time of your choosing. The electronic timer allows you to set a different opening time for each compartment. This allows you to feed two pets simultaneously or schedule two meals for one pet. Using the timer is incredibly easy. The entire process is controlled by the "+" and "-" buttons, as well as the "PetSafe" button (which opens the flaps and resets the timer). The selected settings are displayed on a clear LCD screen. The countdown begins when the "+" or "-" button is pressed for the last time, and you can check the time remaining until the lid is opened at any time. The time range covers 99 hours in hourly increments, meaning you can program meals up to four days in advance.
The Digital 2 Meal Pet Feeder automatic dry food dispenser is lightweight yet durable. The perfectly smooth finish of the housing ensures easy cleaning using a damp, soft cloth. Furthermore, the inner trays are dishwasher safe (top drawer). When closed, the bowl lids "retract" flush with the housing edge, preventing your pet's prying paws from getting inside. The control panel with an LCD screen has a separate cover to prevent your dog or cat from accidentally pressing the buttons. The feeder is powered by AA alkaline batteries. After 5 minutes of programming, the device goes into standby mode to conserve battery life. In this mode, the display dims, and to illuminate again, simply press any button. The feeder's minimalist, compact design looks good anywhere in the home.

Note: The PetSafe Digital 2 Meal Pet Feeder for dogs and cats is not suitable for outdoor use. The dispenser is designed for serving dry food and treats – do not use canned food, pastes, or other moist products. Do not fill the trays above the housing line. Place the dispenser on a level surface, as any unevenness may impair its operation. It is not suitable for serving food to puppies, kittens, or those with mobility issues who cannot reach the food tray without climbing onto the dispenser housing.
