The launcher has an adjustable distance (from 2.5m to 9m) and an adjustable angle (up to 45° upwards) to suit different spatial conditions and diversify your pet's play. You can place up to three balls the size of a standard tennis ball (max. 7.5 cm in diameter) in the toy at a time. Each throw is preceded by an audible signal, helping your dog prepare for the run. One game lasts 15 minutes, after which the device goes into standby mode for another 15 minutes to give your dog adequate rest. The device will continue playing until you turn it off using the "on-off" switch.
With the Automatic Ball Launcher from PetSafe, your dog is active, learns cause-and-effect thinking, and doesn't get bored in your absence. The toy was designed with your pet's safety in mind. The device features a motion sensor on the front. If a dog enters the launching line within 2 meters of the toy, the launcher will pause for 3 seconds, protecting the pet from the powerful impact of the ball. The outlet pocket also features a sensor that detects the presence of inappropriate objects (e.g., an inappropriately sized ball or another toy). Additionally, an on-off switch allows you to pause the game at any time, and the waterproof housing prevents damage to the launcher caused by sudden weather changes or dog saliva.
The PetSafe Automatic Ball Launcher can be powered by a power cord connected to a wall outlet or by 6 D-type batteries (L20 or LR20). A handle on the top of the device allows for convenient carrying. The launcher comes with 2 tennis balls.

Tip: Help your dog learn how to use the toy. Release the first ball outside when your dog is nearby. When the ball launches, give your dog a treat. Repeat until your dog feels comfortable near the ball launcher. Using treats, train your dog to drop the ball over the launcher - the dog should first drop the ball into your hand and then be rewarded. Repeat this step until your dog has mastered it. Once they've learned this, practice dropping the ball over a spool of balls. Once your dog learns to drop the ball over the launcher, the reward will be the launch of the ball.
