Product Description:
Opawz Semi-Permanent Pet Hair Dye is a gentle, semi-permanent dye that does not contain ammonia or titanium peroxide. It is made from pigments intended for contact with food, ensuring it is 100% safe for both people and animals.
Note:
The product gradually washes off after about 6-12 washes, depending on the type and condition of the fur. Dyeing results may vary based on hair type and condition.
How to use:
- Wash the fur with a thorough shampoo and then dry it with a hairdryer. The shampoo will open the hair cuticles, facilitating the absorption of the pigment. Do not apply conditioner in this step.
- Apply the dye evenly to the selected area of the fur and leave for 20 minutes.
- Rinse the coat until clean water runs out. Now apply conditioner that will close the hair cuticles and protect the pigment, then rinse and dry your hair.
Note:
- Don't let your pet lick its coat with freshly applied paint.
- Do not allow the paint to come into contact with the animal's eyes and muzzle. If this happens, rinse them with plenty of water for 15 minutes.
- If your pet experiences an allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
Tips:
- Colors will last longer on pets with fine and soft fur, such as bichon and poodle.
- Color usually lasts for about 12 baths.
- In the case of rough hair, the colors wash out faster.
- Final color effect will vary depending on coat color for light brown and light gray coats.
- It is not recommended to use dyes on dark fur.
- Should not be used on animals with sensitive, irritated, or damaged skin.

There may be several factors that caused this:
- Dirty and greasy hair affects color adhesion. The best way to achieve optimal results is to wash your hair with a degreasing shampoo and dry it before applying color.
- Conditioners make it difficult or impossible for the color to adhere properly.
- Thick and/or damaged hair makes it difficult for color to adhere. For these hair types, an additional application time of at least 10 minutes is recommended.
- Insufficient dye used. For areas with thicker/dense hair, apply the dye in layers and massage it into the hair.
- The ears and tail are the oiliest areas, so they should be cleaned thoroughly before applying the dye.
- Some dogs' ears will take on a different color due to different coat textures, especially noticeable with light dyes such as pink and green.
- The tails most often touch and rub against the ground, which causes the hair to be damaged more easily. We recommend leaving the dye for a longer time. Please remember that damaged hair loses its color faster.
- Open containers of paint, especially those that have been open for several years, will not produce optimal results.
