Training Instructions
How to train your dog to use the mat? Place your favorite LickiMat (Classic, Tuff, or Slomo) in the frame, place a favorite treat on it, and attach it to the Puppy Station mat. Encourage your dog to enjoy their meal. If your dog tries to chew on the mat instead of licking, distract them with a favorite toy. Remove the mat. Call your dog back after a few minutes and repeat the process until your dog tries to chew, destroy the mat, or refuses to sit on it. Once your dog is accustomed to the mat, you can remove the LickiMat frame and use it as a resting place. You can also simply serve your pet food on it at all times.
