The seatbelt attaches to the seat belt webbing and can also be used as a harness holder when you want to keep your dog close to you, for example, when getting out of the car or attaching a leash. It is equipped with a durable metal carabiner.

Installation Instructions:
Method one: Pass the car seat belt through the dog belt loops, fasten the car seat belt. Attach the carabiner to the dog harness.
Method two: Loop the dog's seat belt around the car's seat belt. Fasten the car seat belt. Attach the carabiner to the dog's harness.
Tip: Purchasing a second (and subsequent) Kurgo Seatbelt Teether for the Kurgo Tru-Fit Quick Release Harness (one is included with the harness) is a good solution if you have more than one car. By leaving the seatbelt in each car, you can be sure it's always at hand when you need it.
