It can withstand not only a light drizzle but also a downpour. It works well as a standalone jacket on warmer days or as an additional, outer waterproof insulation over a thermal layer. Perfect for both daily walks and more active dogs. Thanks to its unique design, it allows your dog to move freely, which is why it is highly valued and often used for all kinds of sports activities and training.
The jacket is made of three-layer, breathable, waterproof polyester with a DWR hydrophobic coating that does not contain harmful fluorocarbons. The jacket covers the most important body parts (back, neck, belly, and rear) and protects them from getting wet and cold. The back section extends down to the loins, while the lower section covers the chest and belly. A high, adjustable, fold-over collar protects the neck. A minimal number of seams reduces the risk of chafing and ensures greater waterproofness (all seams on the back of the jacket are taped to prevent leaks). The jacket has a waist fastener to keep it in place. Because some dogs don't like having anything on their paws, the adjustable straps at the back are removable. The garment is easy to put on and take off. It's very lightweight and packs down to a small size, making it easy to take on any adventure without weighing you down. Reflective elements ensure your dog's safety in low light conditions. A hole in the collar allows you to attach a leash. A second hole, located on the back, allows you to attach the leash to a harness that your dog can wear under the jacket. This hole is designed to minimize the risk of water getting under the jacket.

How to care for your Pomppa dog clothing:
Avoid unnecessary washing. Besides water consumption, frequent washing causes wear and tear on the fabric and its coating. If there is no visible dirt or debris, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or placing it in the freezer to remove any odors. If necessary, wash the garment in the washing machine on a delicate cycle at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents, stain removers, bleach, or fabric softeners. Hang the garment to dry after washing. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. The outer layer is coated with a hydrophobic coating that degrades with repeated washing. You can recreate this using waterproofing products commonly available in outdoor clothing stores.
