    Dehispot is a veterinary medicinal product in a spot-on solution form for the treatment of internal parasite infestations in large cats. Its two active substances, praziquantel and emodepside, act against roundworms and tapeworms. The single-dose pipette is applied directly to the skin between the shoulder blades, without oral tablet administration.

    Indications for use

    This cat deworming spot-on is indicated for infections caused by parasites of the following genera:

    • Toxocara cati

    • Echinococcus multilocularis

    Contraindications and precautions

    • Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age.
    • Do not use in cats weighing less than 5 kg or more than 8 kg.
    • Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or any excipient.
    • Use particular caution and consult a veterinarian before administration to sick or weakened animals.
    • For cats only. Do not use in other animals, especially rabbits.

    Directions for use

    Determine the cat's body weight as accurately as possible to ensure correct dosing. Read the leaflet enclosed with the package carefully before use.

    1. Remove the single-dose pipette from the packaging.
    2. Hold the pipette upright, twist off and remove the cap.
    3. Turn the cap over and place its other end on the pipette. Press and twist the cap to pierce the seal, then remove it from the pipette.
    4. Part the fur on the back between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
    5. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.

    Do not bathe the cat for 2 days after application or more than once per week.
