Although the jacket has only one waist closure and no straps or elastic for the hind legs, it fits perfectly and stays in place during any activity. Because some dogs don't like having anything on their paws, the adjustable straps at the back are removable. The garment is easy to put on and take off. If necessary, machine wash the clothing on a delicates cycle at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents, stain removers, bleach, or fabric softeners. Hang the clothing to dry after washing. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. The outer layer of the jacket is coated with a water-repellent coating, which degrades with repeated washing. You can recreate this using waterproofing products commonly available in outdoor clothing stores.
