The Kenchii Slicker Brush is a poodle brush for dogs and cats, recommended for both professional groomers and home caretakers. It works well on all coat types – from thin to thick, to curly and woolly. Relatively stiff, curved metal pins penetrate all layers of the coat, all the way to the roots, removing all debris, loose hair, and undercoat. Furthermore, the pins massage the pet's skin during grooming, which positively impacts blood circulation and nourishes hair follicles. As a result, the skin becomes more elastic, and the coat becomes stronger and shinier. An additional dose of shine is provided by the fact that sebum – a natural component of the skin's hydrolipid barrier – is distributed throughout the hair during brushing. The brush can also be used to detangle light tangles and to lift and add volume to coats.
The box is made of dark maple wood, coated with a high-gloss varnish, giving it an elegant look with a touch of classic style. The well-shaped handle also features a non-slip coating for increased comfort and excellent control. The cushion in which the pins are embedded cushions the pressure of the pins on the skin to prevent injury and prevents painful tugging when detangling tangles.
