The JumppaPomppa is a warm fleece dog sweatshirt designed for year-round use. Thanks to its unique design, it allows your dog to move freely while ensuring comfortable thermal conditions. Ideal for both daily walks and more active dogs, it also works well as a warmer for cold-prone and senior dogs. It helps maintain muscle temperature at the right level during exercise and during downtime, which is why the JumppaPomppa sweatshirt is highly valued and often used for all kinds of sports activities and training.

Tip: The JumppaPomppa is designed for year-round use. Dogs with short hair, without an undercoat, or senior dogs may need additional thermal protection in colder periods. Pair the sweatshirt with a raincoat (Kevyt or Sade) or a winter jacket (Perus, Toppa) to provide additional warmth. Long-haired dogs with a thick, double undercoat naturally tolerate low temperatures better. Pairing the JumppaPumppa with the thin SadePomppa raincoat creates a 3-in-1 outfit, ensuring your dog's comfort year-round in most cases.
The JumppaPomppa fleece is designed to complement other Pomppa products.
How to care for your Pomppa dog clothing:
Avoid unnecessary washing. In addition to water consumption, frequent washing causes wear and tear on the fabric and its coating. If there is no visible dirt or debris, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or placing it in the freezer to remove any odors. If necessary, wash the garment in the washing machine on a delicate cycle at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents, stain removers, bleach, or fabric softeners. Hang the garment to dry after washing. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
Choosing the right size:
A properly selected size provides the best possible thermal protection and allows your dog full freedom of movement. The right size protects key muscle groups and ensures that the garment stays in place even during sprints or crazy jumps. Pomppa jackets and sweatshirts are designed to fit a variety of dog body types: slender, with a broad chest, or with a well-defined and well-developed musculature. When choosing the right size, it's important that the sweatshirt doesn't restrict your dog's mobility or cause any other discomfort. The decisive factor in choosing the right size for the JumpaaPomppa sweater is the dog's back length. We recommend avoiding a size smaller than the dog's back length. Depending on the dog's proportions and coat type, the correct size may be larger than the size based on the back length. Another factor to consider is the primary purpose of the sweatshirt. For active dogs, the sweatshirt should be well-fitting. Less active dogs, those who have breaks during training, or generally lead a sedate lifestyle, may prefer a slightly looser fit.
About the brand: The first Pomppa products were created by the brand's creator, Meri Alku. Having participated in numerous agility competitions with her dogs, she spent a long time searching for suitable clothing for her pets that would meet the requirement of combining adequate thermal protection with full freedom of movement, especially during intense activity. Armed with her knowledge of textiles, Meri Alku decided to sew her own clothes for her dogs. They were received with such enthusiasm by other pet owners that the designer decided to continue developing the product line.
