The Julius-K9 Mantrailing Harness is a dog harness designed for tracking dogs. Developed in collaboration with mantrailing professionals, it is suitable for both professional users and hobbyists. Its design allows for a precise fit to the dog's body, adjustable at up to 5 points. The harness consists of three independent parts, interconnected by straps. This design allows the harness to dynamically adapt to the animal, providing it with complete freedom of movement. The chest section of the harness is lined with soft, pleasant-to-touch neoprene, which does not cause pressure or irritation. A flexible leash connector effectively dampens unwanted, sudden jerks during searches, thus helping the dog during work. Reflective elements ensure high visibility. An interchangeable logo on the back is an additional advantage of the harness.

How to Fit the Julius-K9 Mantrailing Harness:
For the harness to function properly and be comfortable for your dog, it must be properly sized and precisely adjusted to the dog's build. Adjust the neck straps so that the upper edge of the chest pad is at shin height and the padding lies flat against the chest. Between the neck and the back piece, make sure the hoop isn't behind the dog's two hind legs. Move the back piece far enough back that the back straps of the chest pad don't cover the front legs. The straps should be tight enough to fit your hand under the back piece, but don't let them get too loose, as this can cause the harness to shift sideways while you're working. When standing, the harness may feel too loose—the adjustable sternum piece, neck piece, and back piece may slip slightly—but this will resolve as soon as your dog starts moving and pulls forward. All straps and components will then be in place.

- XS: neck circumference 28-40cm, chest circumference 44-60cm, dog weight: 7-12kg
- S: neck circumference 36-46cm, chest circumference 50-71cm, dog weight: 10-22kg
- M: neck circumference 40-52cm, chest circumference 63-85cm, dog weight: 18-32kg
- L-XL: neck circumference 50-70cm, chest circumference 70-96cm, dog weight: 30-50kg
Note: The JK9 Mantrailing harness is not suitable for loose wear, hiking or running with a dog. It was specially developed for search and rescue work, where the dog always moves on a taut leash in front of its owner. For walks in urban areas, we recommend the IDC Powerharness, and for longer trips, the IDC Longwalk harness.
