- Equipped with a handle to lift or safely hold the dog close (except for sizes Baby 1 & 2).
- For size 0, a place to attach one flashlight; for sizes 1, 2, and 3, a place to attach two flashlights.
- Holders for attaching saddlebags with a strong, metal O-ring for attaching a leash.

Differences between the K9 Powerharness and the K9 IDC Powerharness:
- A rearward-positioned belly strap.
- A lowered chest strap.
- An additional, zippered buckle for securely fastening the O-ring for the leash and the handle to hold the dog when not in use (for sizes 0, 1, 2, 3).
- For sizes 1, 2, and 3, holders for two flashlights.
