This complete meal for an adult cat contains 72% chicken muscle and offal. Poultry meat is primarily obtained from muscle, making it a source of easily digestible and easily absorbed protein. Pomegranate seeds contain a wide range of health-promoting ingredients. They contain high levels of ellagic acid, a natural antioxidant and effective cell protectant. Pomegranate seeds have a beneficial effect on the immune, cardiovascular, and nervous systems. Flaxseed oil provides a dose of unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, improves skin and coat condition, and benefits joint health. Taurine is a substance that a cat's body cannot produce in adequate amounts, so it must be supplied through food. Taurine is responsible for proper vision, heart function, nervous, and immune systems. Taurine deficiency in pregnant cats can lead to miscarriage.
