Fypryst Aerosol for dogs and cats is an effective antiparasitic product that provides protection against fleas and ticks. The product contains the active ingredient fipronil, which has an insecticidal and acaricidal effect, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and the death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually secreted onto the skin and fur, ensuring the product's long-lasting effect.
Fypryst Aerosol can be used as part of insect prevention or as part of the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in cats and dogs. The product's ingredients are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, especially Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit Lyme disease, a dangerous disease for dogs. This product controls lice infestations of the Trichodectes canis species in dogs and Felicola subrostratus in cats. Designed for external use as a mechanical pump spray. Safe for adult dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens from two days of age.
Fypryst Fipronil Flea Spray lasts for three months in dogs and two months in cats (this period may vary depending on environmental factors). Against ticks, the spray is effective for one month.

Contraindications:

Application and Dosage:
Before use, read the package leaflet carefully. Spray the entire body surface from a distance of approximately 10-20 cm. Spray against the grain, ensuring the entire coat is damp. Ruffle the coat, especially in long-haired animals, to ensure the product reaches the skin. To fully wet the coat, use 6-12 pumps per kilogram of the animal's body weight. The amount depends on the length of the animal's hair – the longer the hair, the more product should be used. Due to the lack of appropriate safety studies, the minimum period between subsequent applications should be 4 weeks. For optimal effectiveness, it is not recommended to bathe animals for 2 days before and after application.
