Description
Fypryst 50mg drops are designed to protect cats from fleas and ticks, using the active ingredient fipronil for long-lasting insecticidal and acaricidal effects.
Product Description
Fypryst 50mg are drops for fighting fleas and ticks in cats. The product contains the active ingredient fipronil, which has an insecticidal and acaricidal effect, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and the death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually secreted to the skin and fur surface, ensuring the product's long-lasting effect. The package contains one 0.5ml pipette.
Fypryst can be used as a preventative measure against insects or as part of the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in cats. The product's ingredients are effective against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.), which can transmit Lyme disease, a disease dangerous to pets. The product controls infestations with lice of the Felicola subrostratus species. It is intended for external application to the skin by spot-on application. It is effective against fleas for 5 weeks and against ticks for 2 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).
