Description
Fypryst 268mg drops are designed to combat fleas and ticks in dogs weighing over 40kg, providing long-lasting protection with the active ingredient fipronil.
Product Description
Fypryst 268mg are drops for combating fleas and ticks in dogs weighing over 40kg. The product contains the active ingredient fipronil, which has an insecticidal and acaricidal effect, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and the death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually secreted to the skin and fur, ensuring the product's long-lasting effect.
The package contains one 4.02ml pipette. Fypryst can be used as part of insect prevention or as part of the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in dogs. The product's ingredients are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, especially Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit Lyme disease, a dangerous disease for dogs. This product controls infestations of Trichodectes canis lice. It is intended for external application to the skin by spot-on application. It is effective against fleas for 2 months and against ticks for 4 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).

Administration and Dosage
Read the package leaflet carefully before use. Remove the single-dose pipette from the package. Holding the pipette upright, unscrew and remove the tip. Invert the tip and place the other end on the pipette. Press and twist the tip to pierce the seal, then remove it from the pipette. Part the animal's hair on the back between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to express the contents directly onto the skin. Do not bathe your dog for 2 days after applying the drops and no more than once a week.
Tip: Monthly administration is recommended in cases of high risk of recurring flea infestations, if your dog is allergic to flea bites, and when tick control is necessary or your dog bathes frequently with hypoallergenic or emollient shampoos. In areas where there is no significant risk of flea and tick infestations, Fypryst spot-on solution can be administered every other or third month.
