Prevendog 0.363g Medicated Tick and Mosquito Collar for Dogs prevents tick infestations and repels mosquitoes and sandflies, designed for very small breeds.
Product Description:
The Prevendog collar is designed specifically for very small dog breeds weighing 0-5kg with a neck circumference of up to 28cm. It is gray and designed to prevent strangulation by stretching under the dog's force if caught on something, allowing for easy release.
Indications for Use:
- Invasion with parasites sensitive to deltamethrin
- Prevention of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for a period of 6 months
- Prevention of mosquito bites (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for a period of 5 months
- Prevention of mosquito bites (Culex pipiens) for a period of 6 months
Composition:
One 35 cm long collar (15.90 g) contains:
- Deltamethrin: 0.636 g (active substance)
- Titanium dioxide (E171): 0.227 g (excipient)
- Activated carbon: 0.012 g (excipient)
Contraindications:
- Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age due to lack of appropriate studies.
- Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
- Do not use in cats.
- Do not use in dogs with skin lesions.
Precautions for Use:
Accidental ingestion of this product may cause adverse reactions, including neurotoxicity. Keep the product in the original packaging and the collar in the pouch until ready to use. Do not smoke, eat, or drink while handling the collar. Keep away from food, beverages, and feed. Do not allow children to play with the collar or put it in their mouths. Immediately remove any remaining or cut-off parts of the collar. Wash your hands with cold water after putting on the collar. In case of accidental oral contact or ingestion, seek medical advice and show the package leaflet or packaging to the physician. Avoid prolonged contact with the collar or a dog wearing the collar, especially important for children. Deltamethrin may cause hypersensitivity reactions. People with known hypersensitivity to deltamethrin should avoid contact with this product and the animal carrying it. If a hypersensitivity reaction occurs, seek medical advice.
