Description
The Flamingo Cat Scratching Hexagon is a versatile cat toy designed to satisfy your cat's hunting instincts while providing a replaceable scratching post.
Product Description
The Flamingo Cat Scratching Hexagon is a cat toy with balls and a cardboard scratching post in the center. You no longer have to dig your cat's favorite balls out from under the cabinet! The sturdy hexagon made of MDF, with three balls "trapped" in the recesses, is a perfect opportunity for independent play, a game of hunting that many cats love. The jingling balls roll when touched, but they don't fall out of the toy. Your cat can reach them through holes in the top and sides.
Additionally, the center of the toy features a flat, corrugated cardboard scratching post, perfect for sharpening claws. It may even distract your cat from scratching your furniture, and when it wears out, you can replace it. To increase your cat's interest, you can sprinkle a little catnip (which is included) inside the scratching post.
Rounded corners, solid construction, and non-slip feet (silicone pads included for gluing on) create a safe and stable structure. The entire hexagon, finished in a light wood-effect veneer, is aesthetically pleasing and visually appealing. This elegant cat toy will complement both modern and classic interiors.

Additional Information
Remember: Even adult cats need play, and your cat, regardless of age, is a predator and a seasoned hunter. A house cat should be able to unleash its instincts through play. Cats' entertainment typically emulates natural behavior. Watching a cat: lurk, stare, sneak, chase, and catch its prey is a joy. You can initiate a hunt and use toys that simulate prey movements (moving, stopping, hiding, and running away), but don't use your arms and legs as bait! Even if your cat has other pets, it will happily play "hunting a moving target" with you. You'll have a fun time together, strengthen your bond, and build mutual trust.
Moving plush toys arouse a cat's curiosity and attract attention. Give your cat, who is new to movement and buzzing, time to become accustomed to the plush toy and don't immediately activate the toy. In nature, a feline hunter often deals with dead prey: tossing it, nibbling it, nudging it, and attacking again. Therefore, let your cat play independently.
Did you know that... A scratching post allows cats to maintain healthy claws, leave small scent marks, and mark their territory through scratching.
Tip: When the scratching post wears out from sharpening its claws, you can replace it with a new one – available separately.
