Description
Fiprex® is a veterinary medicinal product designed to combat ticks, fleas, and lice in dogs and cats, providing effective protection with low toxicity.
Product Overview
Fiprex® is a line of veterinary medicinal products intended to combat ticks, fleas, and lice in dogs and cats. Fiprex® SPOT-ON is a solution for spotting directly on the skin. The active substance contained in the Fiprex® line of products is fipronil - an insecticide and acaricide that combines high effectiveness in eliminating ticks and fleas with low toxicity for the animal and its environment and, above all, for humans.
How Fiprex® Works
The action of Fiprex® preparations is simple and involves eliminating fleas and ticks within 24-48 hours. Products from the Fiprex® line create a protective layer on the animal's skin, effectively protecting against re-infestation of ticks for up to 4 weeks and against re-infestation of fleas for up to 8 weeks. The preparations do not prevent ticks from attaching to the animal's skin. Once killed, ticks usually fall off the dog or cat, while those that remain can be removed by gently shaking them off.
How to Use
Fiprex® SPOT-ON line products can be used for puppies over 8 weeks of age and/or weighing more than 2 kg and for kittens over 8 weeks of age and/or weighing more than 1 kg. Fiprex® is resistant to water and sunlight, but animals should not be bathed 2 days before and 2 days after administration of the preparation. In order to obtain optimal effect, the products should be administered with a minimum of 4-week intervals between subsequent applications. You should always keep in mind the current severity of the flea and tick infestation in your area.
