Escapure VET Nierendiat Rind is characterized by a slightly higher fat content and a moderately reduced protein level to meet the nutritional needs of dogs with kidney failure. It features a balanced phosphorus-calcium ratio, which is necessary because phosphorus levels are usually too high in individuals with kidney disease. The formation of calcium-phosphate complexes facilitates the excretion of excess phosphorus.
This dog food contains the highest quality beef, sourced exclusively from trusted regional suppliers. Beef provides more absorbable iron than other animal species, which is beneficial as kidney failure often leads to iron deficiency and anemia. Additionally, beef is an excellent source of vitamins A and B, which are important for the regeneration of damaged kidneys.
Rice is included to provide a high dose of easily digestible carbohydrates, offering energy without burdening the digestive system. Rapeseed oil is an excellent source of antioxidants and unsaturated fatty acids, which effectively lower bad cholesterol levels, prevent circulatory disease, and slow the aging process. Feeding and Dosage
We recommend consulting a veterinarian before first feeding. The initial recommended feeding period is 6 months. Consult your veterinarian about extending this period. Patients with kidney failure often experience a loss of appetite. To encourage your dog to eat, it's a good idea to serve slightly warmed food and divide it into three daily servings. Ensure your dog has access to fresh drinking water.
