The bathtub frame is not made of stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Care and Cleaning:
Stainless steel, like any other surface, must be cleaned for optimal hygiene and to maintain its attractive appearance and durability. Periodically wash the surfaces with neutral soap and water until dirt is removed. Use cloths and/or sponges that will not scratch the stainless steel. Always rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning. Final drying will enhance the surface's beauty.
Precautions:
Do not use bleach. Never use carbon steel tools on stainless steel as this will cause contamination, resulting in oxidized orange stains.
